[This past weekend marked the fourth annual California Metalfest, a two day event encompassing various bands from the world of metal and hardcore. The event was held in Pomona, California and was a huge success. Big thanks to Andy, Hugo, and Noah as well as the rest of the people involved in putting it on. We were honored to sponsor such a great happening and we have the pics to prove it!

The highly anticipated 2 disc DVD from Germantown, Maryland’s finest has finally arrived. Clutch’s “Live at the 9:30 Club” comes loaded with footage spanning their entire career:
DISC 1 FEATURES
The 90 minute full concert filmed last December at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club on seven hi-definition cameras. In addition to favorites from Strange Cousins From The West, like “50,000 Unstoppable Watts,” and “Let A Poor Man Be,” the DVD will also include an electrifying version of the 1995 self-titled album in it’s entirety.
DISC 2 FEATURES
A 110 minute “road film” called Fortune Tellers Make a Killing Nowadays, which takes a behind-the-scenes look at Clutch during their 2009 tour. Disc 2 also includes rare band interviews as well as vintage never before seen footage documenting much of Clutch’s history from 1991 to the present.

To celebrate the launching of our brand new blog, IndieMerch is giving away three pairs of tickets to this years California Metalfest! The event takes place on May 15th and 16th in Pomona and we would love to see you there!

3. Once you email us you will automatically be entered into the contest. Duplicate emails throughout the week will be deleted. Three (3) pairs of tickets will be given to three random email addresses. Winners will also receive front of the line access to the singings and events we have planned during the day.
4. Contest runs until Thursday, May 13th at 11:59 PST. To enter you must be able to attend the concert (May 15th and 16th). Winners are responsible for transportation and other amenities.
